On Thursday, November 14, 2019, beginning with a reception at 6:00 p.m. at Beanfield Centre at Exhibition Place, Chief Mark Saunders will host the Chief’s Gala in support of Victim Services Toronto. Dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Speakers will include Mayor John Tory, Ontario Attorney General Doug Downey, Teneo Executive Chairman, William Bratton, former NYPD/LAPD/Boston police commissioner. Toronto Sun Editor-In-Chief Adrienne Batra will be the master of ceremonies.

Chief Mark Saunders will have a brief media availability at 6:45 to 6:50 p.m. regarding the Gala in the North Lobby of the Beanfield Centre before dinner begins.

This event is sold out and over 1,300 guests are expected. Last year, the event raised $653,420.000 for Victim Services Toronto.

This evening is an important community event and a celebration of a vitally important and unique partnership between Victim Services Toronto and the Toronto Police Service. Victim Services Toronto restores, rebuilds and enhances the quality of life of those affected by serious crime and sudden tragedies. It is the only agency in Toronto providing immediate on-site support to victims of crime and sudden tragedies. It offers invaluable support, programs and services, helping over 23,000 victims, over 8,400 of which have been children.
