Three men and three women arrested in Boxing Day home invasion investigation,
Adelaide Street West and Peter Street area

The Toronto Police Service Hold-Up Squad would like to make the public aware of multiple arrests made in a home invasion robbery investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at 6:30 p.m., a man, 35, and two women, 20 and 25, were in a home in the Adelaide Street West and Peter Street area

- while the man was distracted, one of the women let three unknown men and another woman into the home

- one of the men was armed with a black handgun

- the victim - the 35-year-old man - was punched and kicked before threats to shoot him were made if he did not hand over any valuables

- the suspects took items including his wallet, a Breitling watch and the keys to his Mercedes Benz

- the unknown men and woman, as well as the women, 20 and 25, then fled the scene

A short time later, officers arrested all six people.


It is further alleged:

- following a series of search warrants, a quantity of stolen property belonging to the man was recovered


Andre Reid, 37, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Robbery
2) Careless Use of Firearm
3) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
4) Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
5) Possession Property Obtained by Crime
6) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
7) Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
8) Possession of a Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized


Kristoff Crawford, 26, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Robbery
2) Careless Use of Firearm
3) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
4) Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
5) Possession Property Obtained by Crime
6) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
7) Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
8) Possession of a Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized


Michelle Penteado, 25, of Toronto. She was charged with:

1) Robbery
2) Careless Use of Firearm
3) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
4) Possession Property Obtained by Crime
5) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence
6) Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
7) Possession of a Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized


Tatum Marchildon, 24, of Toronto, she was charged with:

1) Careless Use of Firearm
2) Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
3) Possession Property Obtained by Crime
4) Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
5) Possession of a Firearm Knowing it’s Possession is Unauthorized


Miguel Tyndale, 23, of Toronto, was charged with:

1) Robbery
2) Possession Property Obtained by Crime
3) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence


Talia Benmor, 20, of Toronto, she was charged with:

1) Robbery
2) Possession Property Obtained by Crime
3) Conspiracy to Commit Indictable Offence


They all appeared at court at Old City Hall on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 10 a.m., room 101.
