Arrest made in Child Abuse Investigation.
Woman faces two charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest made in an ongoing assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- On Friday, January 17, 2020, a behavioural therapist was providing services to an 8-year-old-boy at a home in the Dufferin Street and Queen Street west area.
- during the session, the therapist assaulted the boy
On Thursday, January 23, 2020, members of the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre arrested Amelia Chandra, 31, of Toronto.
She is charged with:

She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Old City Hall, in courtroom L, at 10 a.m.
Amelia Chandra was employed by AlphaBee Autism ABA Behavioral Therapy Services in Toronto, and provided behavioural therapy in various homes across Toronto.
