The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a woman as part of a Theft of Motor Vehicle investigation.

It is alleged that:

- on Monday, April 22, 2019, at 8:10 p.m., a woman dropped her key to a white Audi Q3 SUV on the ground in the Eglinton Avenue West and Keele Street area

- a second woman picked up the key, got into, and stole the SUV

- as the second woman was driving away, she nearly struck the first woman

The SUV has since been recovered. However, it is further alleged that a wallet containing money and credit cards in the SUV was taken.
