Two men arrested

Toronto Police would like to update the public on the investigation into Homicide #61/2019.

On Monday, November 4, 2019, police responded to a call for a shooting at 1750 The Queensway, Etobicoke.

It is alleged that:

- police and paramedics located a man with apparent gunshot wounds in a parking lot

- he was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and was later pronounced deceased

The victim was identified as Antonio Fiorda, 50, of Maple

It is further alleged:

- a suspect vehicle was later located and recovered by police after it had been set on fire

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, officers arrested Saaid Mohiadin, 29, of Toronto. He has been charged with:

1) One count of first Degree Murder

Jordan Thompson, 18, of Toronto, was also arrested. He has been charged with:

1) Being an accessory after the fact to murder

They are both scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at 10 a.m., via video at 2201 Finch Avenue West, room 204.
