Arrests made for three Homicides,
Homicide #78/2018 and Homicides #52/2019 and #53/2019

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance with these homicide investigations.


On Wednesday, September 19, 2018, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release about Homicide #78/2018:


Homicide #78/2018,
4559 Sheppard Avenue East,
Victim identified

On Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 9:37 p.m., police responded to a shooting at 4559 Sheppard Avenue East.

Officers arrived on scene and located a man with a gunshot wound on the ground at the rear of the address. He was pronounced at the scene.

He has been identified as Jago Anderson, 19, of Toronto.



On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release about Homicides #52/2019 and #53/2019:

On Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at approximately 8:21 p.m., armed men began firing shots in the area of Venetian Crescent just south of the Jane and Finch Mall.

The men then fired a number of rounds at a teenage boy. He sustained multiple wounds before escaping.

A short time later, at 9:04 p.m., the same men with handguns fired a number of rounds at homes in the area 2010 Sheppard Avenue West. Police investigated and it was identified that no one was injured.

At 9:29 p.m, two men were in a courtyard situated at 306 Grandravine Drive, when the same men fired a number of rounds at them. The two men were critically injured.

Officers and paramedics attended and began life saving efforts on the two men. They were both taken to hospital and later succumbed to their injuries and pronounced deceased.

The two men have been identified as Delauntae Bryant, 24, and Eric Rowe, 20.



Toronto Police Homicide officers were actively investigating and evidence led them to Jeziah Blair-Taylor, as allegedly responsible for both Homicides #52/2019 and #53/2019.

Further evidence pointed Jatorri Williams as allegedly responsible for Homicides #78/2018 as well as #52/2019 and #53/2019.

On Monday, October 28, 2019, Jeziah Blair-Taylor, 20, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Two counts of First Degree Murder (October 1, 2019)
2. Attempted Murder (October 1, 2019)

He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, October 29, 2019.


On Wednesday, June 24, 2020, Jatorri Williams, 19, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Second Degree Murder (September 18, 2018)
2. Two counts of First Degree Murder (October 1, 2019)
3. Attempted Murder (October 1, 2019)

He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West and 1911 Eglinton Avenue on Thursday, June 25, 2020.
