53 charges laid, 11 guns seized,
11 Division

On Tuesday, July 14, 2020, officers from 11 Division Major Crime Unit, Community Response Unit and the Emergency Task Force executed two search warrants in the city of Toronto.

As a result, it is alleged the following items were located and seized:

- 11 firearms
- 11,000 rounds of ammunition
- 110 grams of crack cocaine
- 400 grams of heroin
- 672 grams of crystal meth

Samuel Morris, 34, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Possession of Schedule I Substance
2. Four counts Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking
3. Five counts of Unlawfully Possess Schedule I Substance
4. Possession of Schedule III Substance
5. Two counts of Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
6. Four counts of Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited/Restricted Firearm
7. Four counts of Possess Restricted/Prohibited Firearm Without Holding Licence and Registration Certificate
8. Seven counts of Possess Firearm other than Restricted/Prohibited Firearm Without Holding Licence
9. Seven counts of Use/Handle/Store Firearm Carelessly
10. Seven counts of Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon Knowing no Authority
11. Two counts Possess Unloaded Regulated Firearm
12. Two counts Possess Firearm Obtained by Crime


Emily Morris 25, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Possession of Schedule I Substance
2. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance
3. Possession of Schedule III Substance
4. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule III Substance
5. Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000


David Morris, 48, Rachel Morris, 19, and William Morris, 22, all of Toronto, were arrested and charged with:

1. Possession of Schedule I Substance
2. Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I Substance


They were all scheduled to appear in court, at Old City Hall, on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
