Man wanted in Aggravated Assault investigation,
Don Mills Road and Steeles Avenue East area

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance locating a man wanted in an aggravated assault investigation.

On Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 6:49 a.m., officers responded to a call for an assault in the Don Mills Road and Steeles Avenue East area.

It is reported that:

- a 65-year-old woman was in her home asleep

- a man broke into the home and assaulted her

- she was struck in her face and choked, losing consciousness

- the woman received life-altering injuries and was hospitalized

Mark William Kubicz, 32, of Thornhill, is wanted for:

1) Break and Enter and Commit
2) Aggravated Assault
3) Overcome Resistance by Choking
4) four counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order
5) Breach of Probation

He is described as 5'10", 190 lbs., with short brown hair, hazel eyes, and a beard. He was shirtless, with black and red shorts, and black and white shoes.

He is considered violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
