Five arrested for firearms and drug offences,
Gun and Gang Task Force investigation,
Firearms and drugs seized

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of five arrests as part of a firearms investigation.

On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, officers from the Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force, with the assistance of the Emergency Task Force, executed a Criminal Code search warrant in Whitchurch-Stouffville.

It is alleged:

- officers had information that people at the property were in possession of firearms

- on entry, officers discovered several people inside the address

- a loaded handgun, 14 rounds of ammunition, two over-capacity magazine, 1 oz of cocaine and $6,000 in Proceeds of Crime were seized

Five people were arrested in connection with the warrant and are now facing numerous firearm and drug-related charges.

Jahmal Palmer, 33, of Whitchurch-Stouffville, has been charged with:

1. Possession of a loaded firearm
2. Unauthorized possession of a firearm
3. Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4. Careless storage of a firearm
5. Careless storage of ammunition
6. Possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
7. Two counts of Possession of a prohibited device
8. Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
9. Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
10. Possession of proceeds of crime

Skylar Wilson, 27, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possession of a loaded firearm
2. Unauthorized possession of a firearm
3. Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4. Careless storage of a firearm
5. Careless storage of ammunition
6. Possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
7. Two counts of Possession of a prohibited device

Pamela Boampong, 30, of Vaughan, has been charged with:

1. Possession of a loaded firearm
2. Unauthorized possession of a firearm
3. Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4. Careless storage of a firearm
5. Careless storage of ammunition
6. Possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
7. Two counts of Possession of a prohibited device

T’Quan Robertson, 25, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possession of a loaded firearm
2. Unauthorized possession of a firearm
3. Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4. Careless storage of a firearm
5. Careless storage of ammunition
6. Possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
7. Two counts of Possession of a prohibited device
8. Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order

Alexander Fountain, 29, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Possession of a loaded firearm
2. Unauthorized possession of a firearm
3. Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
4. Careless storage of a firearm
5. Careless storage of ammunition
6. Possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
7. Two counts of Possession of a prohibited device
8. Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order

All were scheduled to appear at Old City Hall at 10 a.m on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, room 103.
