The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a robbery investigation.
On Friday, July 31, 2020, in the early morning hours, police responded to a theft radio call in the Yonge Street and Bloor Street East area.
It is reported that:
- a man had responded to an online website offering erotic massage services
- arrangements were made for a woman to attend an address to meet the man
- a woman arrived, and a short time later stole the man's valuable watch
On Monday, August 24, 2020, Alexis-Anne Simard-Lafond, 22, of Ottawa, surrendered to police. She was arrested and charged with:
1. Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence
She appeared in court at College Park, on Monday, August 24, 2020, 9:30 a.m., room 507.
Police believe that there are other victims and would like to speak with them.
Security images have been released:
1 - woman, approximately 23, 5'8", medium build, 160 lbs., long dark hair and olive complexion
2 - Alexis-Anne Simard-Lafond, 22
3 - woman, approximately 26, 5'5", thin build, 125 lbs., long dark hair and medium complexion
Anyone who recognizes the women pictured is urged to contact police.
