The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with identifying a suspect as part of an attempted murder investigation.
On Thursday, March 3, 2020 at approximately 4 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting in the Dundas Street West and Spadina Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- an unknown man entered a restaurant and had a brief verbal interaction with 41-year-old man
- he then produced a handgun and shot the 41-year-old
- the suspect then left the restaurant and fled the area in a vehicle
- the victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries
The man responsible for the shooting is described as Asian, clean shaven, 25-30 years old, wearing a black wool winter coat, black hoody with the hood up and a black dress pants.
Investigators have released a composite drawing of the suspect in the hope that someone recognizes him and comes forward to police.
