Traffic Fatality #26/2020,
Dundas Street West and Denison Avenue

On Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 6:03 p.m., police received a report of a collision between a cyclist and a motor vehicle, eastbound on Dundas Street West at Denison Avenue.

It is reported that:

- a 37-year-old man was riding a bicycle eastbound on Dundas Street West, in the centre lane approaching Dennison Avenue

- a 66-year-old woman was operating a motor vehicle eastbound, in the curb lane

- the cyclist fell of the bicycle onto the roadway, as the motor vehicle passed it struck the cyclist

- the man was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
