Four Arrested in Firearm Investigation,
Facing multiple charges,
Submachine gun, ammunition and drugs seized

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of arrests made in a firearm investigation.

It is alleged that:

On October 2, 2020, members of the 52 Division Major Crime Unit, commenced an investigation which resulted in the seizure of a MAC-10 submachine gun, ammunition and drugs.

A further amount of additional drugs and cash were seized when officers executed a search warrant.

Tommy Giroux-Chevalier, 20, of Montreal, is charged with:

1. Have care or control of a vehicle with cannabis readily available
2. Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
3. Store Firearm Carelessly
4. Posses Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without holding a license and registration certificate
5. Store Ammunition Carelessly
6. Possess Restricted Firearm knowing its possession prohibited
7. Possess Restricted Ammunition knowing no Authority
8. Unauthorized Possession in Motor vehicle
9. Occupy Motor vehicle with prohibited ammunition
10. Possess Firearm while Prohibition
11. Possess Ammunition while Prohibition
12. Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking
13. Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained By Crime/Not Exceeding $5000

MC Koeurn Joseph, 20, of Montreal, is charged with:

1. Have care or control of a vehicle with cannabis readily available
2. Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
3. Store Firearm Carelessly
4. Posses Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without holding a licence and registration certificate
5. Store Ammunition Carelessly
6. Possess Restricted Firearm knowing its possession prohibited
7. Possess Restricted Ammunition knowing no Authority
8. Unauthorized Possession in Motor vehicle
9. Occupy Motor vehicle with prohibited ammunition
10. Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking
11. Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained By Crime/Not Exceeding $5000

Jahmeel Jean Pierre, 18, of Montreal, is charged with:

1. Have care or control of a vehicle with cannabis readily available
2. Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm
3. Store Firearm Carelessly
4. Posses Restricted or Prohibited Firearm without holding a license and registration certificate
5. Store Ammunition Carelessly
6. Possess Restricted Firearm knowing its possession prohibited
7. Possess Restricted Ammunition knowing no Authority
8. Unauthorized Possession in Motor vehicle
9. Occupy Motor vehicle with prohibited ammunition
10. Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking
11. Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained By Crime/Not Exceeding $5000

Juliette Duchesne, 18, of Montreal, is charged with :

1. Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking
2. Possess Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained By Crime/Not Exceeding $5000

They will appear in court, on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., 444 Yonge Street, College Park Court, room 507.
