Man wanted in Assault investigation,

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in an assault investigation.

It was reported that:

- on Monday, September 21, 2020, at 8:30 p.m., a woman was in a gas station kiosk in the Yonge Street and Sheppard Avenue West area

- a man was inside the kiosk as well, purchasing a drink

- after purchasing his drink the man, for unknown reasons, struck the victim on the side of her head

- he then fled in an unknown direction

Security camera images have been released and video can be viewed on YouTube.


The man was described as 20-30, 6'2", 140-160 lbs., dark complexion, skinny build, and medium-length black braided hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded jacket and beige khaki pants.
