Arrest made in Sexual Assault Investigation,
Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue area,

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault Investigation.

It is alleged that:

- a man met a woman in her 20s online via a dating application

- they began dating each other

- between January 2019 and April 2019, the man sexually assaulted her in a condo in the Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue area

On Tuesday, September 15, 2020, Moe Alfalahi, now 34, of Toronto, surrendered to police. He was arrested and charged with:

1. two counts of Sexual Assault
2. two counts of Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm

He is scheduled to appear at court at Old City Hall on Monday, October 26, 2020, at 2 p.m., in room 114.
