On Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at approximately 6:10 p.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting in the Mount Olive Drive and Kipling Avenue area.

Police obtained judicial authorization to identify a young person.

The judicial authorization, which permitted the identification of the young person, will expire at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.

The name of the young person and their photograph can no longer be published/broadcast.
