The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with an assault investigation.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, police began an investigation into an assault that took place near the intersection of Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East.

It was reported that:

- on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at approximately 8:15 p.m., a woman was in a laneway when she was approached by an unknown man

- the unknown man assaulted the woman and then fled the area

He was described as having a tanned complexion, in his thirties, 5'10"- 6'0" and with a light brown scruffy beard. He was wearing a dark baseball cap and grey sweater, dark blue jeans and a grey t-shirt with a black vest on top.
