The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing Homicide investigation.

On Sunday, October 25, 2020 at approximately 5:32 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at 3111 Danforth Avenue.

It is alleged that:

- a 21-year-old man was at a store making a purchase

- a 20-year-old man and a woman where also making a purchase at the same store

- a verbal argument occurred between the two men

- after the purchase the 21-year-old man left the store and the 20-year-old man and woman left the store after their purchase

- a short time after the 21-year-old man was running through the parking lot and gun shots were heard and he was seen laying on the ground

The 21-year-old man has been identified as Jakub Sudomericky.

Members of the Toronto Police Service, 41 Division and Homicide investigators identified and arrested Michael Roberts, 20, of Toronto.

He has been charged with:

1) First Degree Murder

He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, October 26, at 10 a.m., at Toronto East Courts, 1911 Eglington Avenue East, Room 412.
