On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a theft of a Poppy donation box at a grocery store in the Yonge Street and Rowanwood Avenue area.

It is alleged:

- a man entered the store and placed the donation box down the front of his pants

- the store employees were able to apprehend the man and contact police

- the money was fully recovered

On Tuesday, November 3, 2020, Jermaine Vincent Archibald, 32, of no fixed address was arrested.

He is charged with:

1. Theft Under
2. Fail to Comply Probation

He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at 2 p.m., courtroom 505.
