The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in a theft investigation.

On Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 1:13 p.m., a theft occurred inside a store in the Gerrard Street East and Pape Avenue area.

It was reported that:

- a woman, then 63, was shopping

- when she went to pay for her items she noticed her wallet was missing

- she notified the manager

- upon review of security video, a man was seen taking her wallet while she had turned to pick up items

He is described as 50-60, 5'8"-5'10", 180 lbs., thin build, clean shaven, with a round stomach and short grey hair.

Investigators believe there may be more victims.
