On Thursday, November 5, 2020, at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for an Unknown Trouble in the area of Church Street and Wellesley Street East.

It is alleged that:

- a 40-year-old man was involved in an altercation with a number of people

- the man sustained multiple stab wounds

- the man was transported to hospital for serious, non-life-threatening injuries

With the assistance of 51 Division's Neighbourhood Community Officers, the suspect was identified and located.

Zelt Felix, 20, of No Fixed Address, has been arrested and charged with:

1. Attempt Murder
2. Aggravated Assault
3. Assault with a weapon
4. Three counts of Fail to Comply Release Order

He is to appear in court, at College Park, on Friday, November 6, 2020.
