Boy arrested for Retail Robbery,
Kingston Road and McCowan Road area

The Toronto Police Service Hold Up Squad would like to make the public aware of an arrest in relation to a retail robbery.
On Thursday, November 5, 2020 at approximately 12:10 a.m., the police responded to reports of a robbery in the Kingston Road and McCowan Road area.
It is alleged that:
- a boy entered a store while wearing a mask
- he approached the cashier, pulled a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes
- he took the items and fled the store
Members of Toronto Police Service's 43 Division responded to the 9-1-1 call and quickly located a boy who was still in the area.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested without incident.
He has been charged with:
1.Robbery with an Offensive Weapon
2.Disguise with Intent
4.Possession of Property Obtained by Crime (Under $5000.00)
He appeared in court on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 9:30 a.m., at Toronto East Court , 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, Room 408.
