Toronto Crime Stoppers to update media on 2020 success,
Crime Stoppers Month

On Wednesday, January 6, 2021, outside Toronto Police Headquarters in front of the Grenville Street entrance, Toronto Crime Stoppers will be marking Crime Stoppers Month.

The month of January is recognized by Crime Stoppers International as Crime Stoppers Month around the world.

Coordinator Milton Ferguson will host the event and will be joined by Toronto Police Service Chief James Ramer and Crime Stoppers Chair Sean Sportun.

Along with highlighting statistics from 2020, recognizing awards received from Ontario Association of Crime Stoppers and Crime Stoppers International for awareness campaigns, an update on the successful re-brand strategy of not paying individual rewards for tips will also be provided.

The news conference will be broadcast over the Bell TOC and will be live-streamed on YouTube here.
