The Toronto Police Service's Sex Crimes – Child Exploitation Section would like to make the public aware of an arrest in an ongoing online luring and child pornography investigation.
On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, police executed a warrant in the Wellington County area.
It is alleged that:
- a quantity of computer devices were seized
On Wednesday, March 24, 2021, Wilfred Thyssen, 64, of Fergus, was arrested. He is charged with:
1. Distribute Child Pornography
2. Possession of Child Pornography
3. Access Child Pornography
4. Luring a Child Under 16
5. Make Arrangement to Commit Sexual Interference
6. two Counts of Attempting to Commit Sexual Interference
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 10 a.m.
