On Thursday, April 1, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., officers responded to a call for a personal injury collision in the Parliament Street and Queens Quay East area.

It is reported that:

- a 45-year-old man was operating a black Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Queens Quay East near Parliament Street

- for unknown reasons, the rider lost control of the motorcycle and struck the curb on the south side of the roadway causing the rider to fall off the motorcycle

- the motorcycle rider was rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries

Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident to contact investigators.
