Multiple search warrants executed,

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of multiple simultaneous Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrants executed and the ensuing arrests.

In February, 2021, officers from 31 Division Major Crime Unit and the Community Response Unit, in partnership with Toronto Community Housing and community partners, commenced an investigation into drug trafficking in the building located at 2195 Jane Street.

As a result of this investigation, a number of apartments were identified as being involved in the illicit drug trade. Five search warrants were executed, nine adults and a boy were arrested. The following narcotics and proceeds of crime were located and seized:

- 21.61 grams of Cocaine
- 1.84 grams of Crack Cocaine
- $1,298.45 in cash seized as proceeds of crime

Shane Skinner, 46, of Toronto, Adrian Hassock, 27, of Toronto, Justis Hamil, 24, of Toronto, Karen Johnson, 47, of Toronto, Wayne Connolly, 57, of Toronto, and Nigel Yearwood, 26, of Toronto, were arrested. They have been charged with:

1) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine

Grover Drummond, 59, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
2) Possession of Proceeds of Crime

Mohamed Hassan, 28, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
2) Obstruct Peace Officer
3) Fail to Comply with Release Order

They appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, April 2, 2021, at 10 a.m., in room 103.

Delmar Abdiqaadir, 18, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) Fail to Comply with Release Order
2) Breach of Probation

He will appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 10 a.m., in room 301.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with:

1) Fail to Comply with Release Order

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 2 p.m., in room 202.
