The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a homicide investigation.

On Thursday, September 24, 2020, at 8:33 p.m., police received a call for a shooting in the Shoreham Drive and Gosford Boulevard area.

Elijah Simpson Sweeney, 21, of Toronto, is wanted on the strength of an arrest warrant for:

1. Second-Degree Murder
2. Attempt Murder

In addition, he faces an additional charge of Fail to Comply Recognizance.

He is described as 6' and 254 lbs.

He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached by the public.

Police should be contacted immediately if located.
