The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man who is now wanted on a warrant for escaping lawful custody.

Benjamin Bonne, 32, of Toronto, was last seen at approximately 11:15 a.m., in the Ossington Avenue and Queen Street West area.

It is alleged that:

- he escaped from a secure facility while bound by a court order to remain there

A warrant has been issued for Benjamin Bonne's arrest. The 32-year-old, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1. Escape Lawful Custody

He is described as 6'2", 130lbs, with shoulder-length brown hair, hazel eyes, a brown beard, and he has a tattoo on his right wrist. He was last seen wearing a light coloured t-shirt, dark pants and grey sandals.

He has links to Toronto, Durham, Halton, Peterborough, Norfolk, and Brantford areas.

This individual is potentially violent. If seen, do not approach, please call 9-1-1.

Officers have been actively searching for him and continue to.
