The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident that occurred on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

It is reported that:

- a 13-year-old boy was in the Christie Street and Essex Street area

- an unknown man approached him on foot and offered the boy a ride in a vehicle

- the boy declined the ride and walked away

At this time, investigators would like to make the public aware and identify the unknown man

The man is described as 6'3", medium to large build, light brown skin, with short curly black and grey hair, and walks with a limp on his right side.

Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant of suspicious people or vehicles in their neighbourhoods including the areas surrounding schools, and report anything suspicious to police.
