Sexual Assault Alert,
Man, 48, facing seven charges,
Police concerned there are more victims

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to two sexual assault investigations.

It is alleged that:

- on Friday, January 1, 2021, a woman was sexually assaulted by a man

It is further alleged that:

- between December, 2020, and February, 2021, another woman was sexually assaulted by the same man

On Monday, August 23, 2021, Tajinder Singh Bedi, 48, of Brampton, was arrested. He was charged with:

1. three counts of Sexual Assault
2. Unlawfully in Dwelling-house
3. Uttering Threats
4. Assault
5. Assault/Choking

He is scheduled to appear in court virtually at Old City Hall on Monday, September 13, 2021, at 10 a.m., in room 114.

Investigators are concerned that there may be other victims and are asking anyone with any information to contact police
