The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault.

On Sunday, October 3, 2021, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Finch Avenue West and Beecroft Road area.

It is reported that:

- a 33-year-old woman was walking in the area

- a man on a bicycle approached her from behind

- the man sexually assaulted the woman

- the man then fled the area

On Sunday, October 3, 2021, at approximately 7:50 p.m., a woman was walking in the Doris Avenue and Hillcrest Avenue area

- a 32-year-old woman was walking in the area

- a man on a bicycle approached her from behind

- the man sexually assaulted the woman

- the man fled the area

The man is described as 20, 5’7”-5’10”, with a slim build, brown hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, camouflage jacket, carrying a backpack, and riding a bicycle.

It is believed the same man is responsible for both of these assaults.

Security video of the suspect on a bicycle has been released.

Investigators believe there may be other victims.
