The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a stabbing investigation.

On Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 1:30 a.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the area of Yonge Street and Front Street.

It is reported that:

- a man approached a group of individuals

- the man stabbed another man

- the man fled eastbound on Front Street East, and then possibly north on to Scott Street

- the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

The man is described as 5'10", with a medium build, approximately 30-years-old, with black curly hair, and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing baggy clothing, carrying a knapsack, construction harness and a vest.

Investigators believe that there may have been witnesses in the area during the incident, and urge them to call police.
