The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in a shooting investigation.

The incident happened on Sunday, August 29, 2021, inside of Yorkdale Mall.

It is alleged that:

- two groups of individuals were involved in an altercation

- shots were exchanged between both groups

- officers arrived immediately on scene, and with the assistance of mall security, were able to arrest one man nearby

- a loaded Glock-19 firearm was recovered as well as ammunition

On Tuesday, November 2, 2021, Isaac Stafford, 23, of Toronto, was arrested in the Greater Sudbury area. He is charged with:

1) Discharge Firearm with Intent

He remains in custody and the Toronto Police Service is making arrangements for the transfer of custody to face the charge.
