Police concerned for woman’s wellbeing,

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a woman to ensure her wellbeing.

On Sunday, November 7, 2021, a woman was in the area of Lake Shore Boulevard West and Mimico Avenue.

It is alleged:

- while in the area the woman was approached by a man

- the man engaged in a verbal dispute with her

- the man then assaulted the woman

- the man pulled the woman by the hair and grabbed her by the throat and spat at her

- the man fled the scene

The woman is described as white, 5'0", petite build, with brown hair.

Police are concerned for her safety.

Anyone who was in the area at the time is urged to contact police with any information. Investigators would also encourage the woman to contact police to let them know she is safe and well.
