Sexual Assault Alert,
Man wanted in a Sexual Assault and Robbery Investigation,
Simpson Avenue and Broadview Avenue area

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault and a Robbery Investigation and is seeking the public's assistance identifying a wanted man.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, police attend the Simpson Avenue and Broadview Avenue area.

- a woman was walking westbound on Simpson Avenue east of Broadview Avenue

- a man walked past the woman, and then attacked her from behind

- the man sexually assaulted the woman, robbed her, and fled

The man is described as approximately 20 to 30 years, 5'5", with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a hat, large glasses, a face mask, and dark clothing.

Investigators are requesting residents to review their security cameras and dash cams for any footage that might have been captured between 5:30 a.m to 6:30 a.m. to assist with the investigation.
