The Toronto Police Service would like to advise the public of an arrest in an ongoing sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- a man was employed as a janitor from May 2000 with the Toronto Catholic District School Board
- the man worked at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School, located at 121 Brimwood Boulevard, in Toronto
- on multiple occasions between January 2015 and June 2017 the man sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl who attended the school
In October 2021, members of Sex Crimes - Child and Youth Advocacy Centre (CYAC) commenced an investigation. On Monday, November 8, 2021, CYAC officers arrested Bruce Treliving, 61, of Toronto. He is charged with:
1. Sexual Assault
2. Sexual Interference
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 , at 2 p.m. in courtroom 407.
