On Friday, November 12, 2021, at 8:09 p.m., police received a radio call for a pedestrian struck on Old Weston Road, north of Turnberry Avenue.

It is reported that:

- a white Chevrolet Cruze was being operated northbound on Old Weston Road, north of Turnberry Avenue

- the driver of the Chevrolet collided with a parked vehicle

- a 32-year-old man was outside his parked vehicle and was struck by the chain reaction collision

- the man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries

- the driver of the Chevrolet Cruze fled the scene

The investigation is ongoing by Traffic Services. Police are interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, local residents, businesses or drivers who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident.
