The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a man wanted in a kidnapping with a firearm investigation and assault causing bodily harm.

On Sunday, September 19, 2021, officers responded to a kidnapping and robbery with a firearm investigation, in the Dupont Street and Symington Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- a group of men approached two men and forced them into a vehicle at gunpoint

- once inside the vehicle, a person was stabbed and a quantity of cash was stolen and taken from them

Carlos Swaby-Palacios, 25, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1. two counts of Kidnapping
2. three counts of Robbery with a Firearm
3. three Counts of Pointing a Firearm
4. Assault Causing Bodily Harm


He is described as 6'3", 180 lbs, with long curly black hair in a ponytail. He is known to frequent the Queen Street West and Jameson Avenue area.

He is considered to be armed, violent, and dangerous. If located, do not approach, call 9-1-1 immediately.

This is an ongoing investigation.
