King-Liberty Pedestrian Cycle Bridge

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with an arson investigation.
On Friday, November 19, 2021, at approximately 7:55 p.m., officers responded to a call for a fire at the King-Liberty Pedestrian Cycle Bridge.
It is reported that:
- an amount of combustible material was under the pedestrian/cycle bridge
- a man approached this area and set the material on fire
- this caused significant damage to the bridge causing it to be closed
The man is described as having a thin build, and dark-coloured hair. He was wearing a long black jacket, black pants, and carrying a dark backpack.
Security camera video of the man is released.
