The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in a stolen dog investigation.

It is reported that:

- a woman left her dog outside of a store on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 10 a.m., in the Dundas Street West and Dovercourt Road area

On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, William Locke, 39, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Theft Under $5000

He is scheduled to appear at court at Old City Hall on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 11 a.m., in room 112.

The stolen dog, called Spencer, has been located and returned to his owner.
