The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in an assault investigation.

On Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 4:14 pm, police responded to a call for an assault on a TTC bus in the area of Sloane Ave and Tinder Crescent.

It is reported that:

- a 15-year-old boy was sitting with his friends at the back of a TTC bus, Route 91 Northbound, passing the area of O’Connor Drive and St. Clair Avenue East

- a man was seated behind the group near the boy

- the man suddenly stood up and assaulted the boy

- the man got off the bus at Sloane Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East

The man is described as 20-30, 5’11”, thin build, wearing eyeglasses, burgundy red Adidas hoodie, black puffy jacket, black/grey pants, and construction boots. The suspect was also wearing a grey and black backpack and carrying a neon yellow construction jacket.

A photograph has been released.
