The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a suspect or suspects in a stabbing investigation.

On Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 3:52 a.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the Tapscott Road and Finch Avenue East area.

It is reported that:

- a group was gathered near vehicles in a commercial centre parking lot

- a dispute erupted between several individuals and two men were stabbed several times

- both victims were transported to hospital by paramedics with serious and life-threatening injuries

Investigators are appealing to anyone that witnessed the stabbing, or were in the area at the time, and have video surveillance or dash cam footage to contact them.
