The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance locating a man wanted in an obstruct justice investigation.

On Tuesday, September 3, 2019, Marvin Hernandez-Viera, who was 22 at the time, of Toronto, was arrested for the following:

1) Attempt Murder

He was ordered by the court to wear an ankle monitor and stay with a surety.

It alleged that:

- on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., he cut off the ankle bracelet monitor and fled the home of his surety

He is now wanted for:

1) Obstruct Justice
2) Fail to Comply with Recognizance

He is known to be violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately.

Investigators urge Mr. Hernandez-Viera to contact a lawyer and arrange his surrender.
