Sexual Assault Investigation

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., in the Steeles Avenue West and Kipling Avenue area.

It is reported that:

- a woman was jogging on a pathway in Rowntree Mills Park when she was approached from behind by a man

- the man sexually assaulted the woman

- the man was last seen going southbound into the park

The man is described as white with a tan complexion, 24-26 years old, 5'7", with short black hair with bangs and hazel eyes. He was wearing a black short-sleeve t-shirt, black baggy pants, carrying a black shoulder bag and a wearing a blue surgical mask.
