The Toronto Police Service is investigating a collision where a man sustained life-threatening injuries.
On Friday, May 28, 2021, at approximately 5:27 a.m., police received a report of a collision involving a Honda CRV and Mercedes on Dundas Street West near Parkway Avenue, in Toronto.
It is reported that:
- a 20-year-old woman was driving a Honda CRV eastbound on Dundas Street West in the curb lane
- a Mercedes was unoccupied and parked in the curb lane on Dundas Street West
- the driver of the Honda CRV struck the parked Mercedes
The passenger in the Honda CRV, a 20-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. The driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
