The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in an assault with a weapon investigation.
On Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at about 1:20 p.m., officers responded to a stabbing call in the Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East area.
It is reported that:
- a 15-year-old boy and an unknown male were on a TTC bus from Kennedy Subway Station
- the boy exited at Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East
- he was followed by the male and stabbed in the back of the thigh
- the victim fled and contacted police
The boy was treated for the non-life threatening injury in a hospital.
Investigators are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the male involved.
Is is believed that the male is under the age of 18. He was described as 5'7", brown skin, with a thin build. At the time he was wearing a blue bubble jacket, black pants with the Ferrari logo on the right thigh, black shoes, blue medical mask, and had a black backpack with a plastic water bottle in the side pocket.
