The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with an investigation into a personal injury collision.
On Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 9:59 p.m., police received a report of a collision involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in the Warden Avenue and McNicoll Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- a 64-year-old man was driving a 2016 Dodge Caravan northbound on Warden Avenue
- a 45-year-old man was on the east sidewalk of Warden Avenue, north of McNicoll Avenue
- he attempted to cross Warden Avenue from the east sidewalk to the west sidewalk mid-block and was struck by the northbound Dodge Caravan
- he suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
