The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a sexual assault investigation.

On Thursday, July 8, 2021, at approximately 9:15 p.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Sheppard Avenue West and Buckland Road area.

It is reported that:

- a 55-year-old woman was walking down the street

- she was approached by an unknown man and sexually assaulted

He is described as black, 18-22, approximately 6’0", with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a black face mask, black pants, and a black hooded sweatshirt.

He was last seen running northbound in the Sheppard Avenue West and Arleta Avenue area.
