Man sought in Sexual Assault investigation,
Sheppard Avenue West and Jane Street area

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault.

It has been reported that:

- on Friday, July 9, 2021, between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., a woman was walking in the Sheppard Avenue West and Jane Street area

- a man approached the woman from behind and sexually assaulted her

- the man then fled the area northbound through a nearby town house complex

The man is described as black, 20-25 years, 5'5", 150 lbs., with a thin build, and had facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, and grey sweatpants.
