The Toronto Police Service is investigating after a serious collision.
On Friday, July 16, 2021, at 3:28 a.m., police received a report of a personal injury collision, involving a single electric bike on Runnymede Road, south of St. Clair Avenue West.
It is reported that:
- a 23-year-old man was riding a black motorcycle-style e-bike north bound on Runnymede Road
- the electric motorcycle subsequently struck a concrete barrier on Runnymede Road, south of St. Clair Avenue West
- as a result of the collision, the man sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses, and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
